"Punched tin" is a folk art commonly associated with a highly collectible antique cupboard called a "pie safe". Early American pioneers pierced designs into sheet metal ("tin") creating decorative panels that allowed air to circulate and cool baked good in a protective enclosure.
Using this simple craft as window treatment will add attraction to any home or business.
